Engagement routes

Relationships are structured for a defined contribution

01

Academic collaboration

Evidence review, research, methods, education and expert contribution with universities and research bodies.

02

Professional collaboration

Joint learning, practice development and subject engagement with eligible professional organisations.

03

Public-interest engagement

Dialogue and projects with public bodies, civil society and community organisations on relevant nutrition priorities.

04

Responsible enterprise

Structured work with manufacturers and service organisations on standards, assurance, education or evidence under independence controls.

Due diligence

Suitability is considered before commitment

  1. 01

    Purpose and public value

The proposed objective, beneficiaries and fit with the Association’s remit are defined.

  2. 02

    Organisation review

Identity, ownership, conduct, reputation, legal context and material controversies are considered proportionately.

  3. 03

    Interests and influence

Funding, commercial interests, requested rights and threats to independence or impartiality are assessed.

  4. 04

    Terms and accountability

Scope, authority, branding, communications, finance, information, outputs, review and exit arrangements are documented.

Non-endorsement

Collaboration does not transfer Association authority

A partner, sponsor, contributor or participating organisation may not imply that the relationship constitutes certification, regulatory approval, endorsement of its products or agreement with positions outside the defined collaboration.

The Association reserves control over its name, emblem, marks, publications and official statements. Use requires specific written authorisation and remains limited to the approved context and period.
