Institutional statements
Authorised communication concerning the Association, its programmes, decisions and formal relationships.
News and official positions
Official communications distinguish Association decisions and technical positions from commentary, member opinion and third-party reporting.

Official communication
Authorised communication concerning the Association, its programmes, decisions and formal relationships.
Approved interpretation of a defined nutrition or assurance question supported by documented technical review.
Material information about standards, consultations, certification programmes, marks and register status.
Association activity relevant to members, education, events, appointments and professional participation.
Media enquiries
Requests should identify the organisation, journalist or producer, subject, intended use, deadline and whether comment is sought for attribution. Technical questions may require review before an authorised response can be issued.
Only statements published by the Association or provided by an authorised representative should be attributed as an official WNA position. Personal views of members, participants or contributors are not Association positions unless expressly stated.
Corrections
Material factual errors are reviewed promptly and corrected with due regard to the significance of the change, the reach of the original communication and the need to preserve an accurate record.
A correction does not retrospectively alter a controlled certification decision, standard or register status, which is governed through its own authorised process.
Media contact
Provide sufficient context and deadline information for the request to be assigned and reviewed appropriately.
