Institutional remit
The Association provides an independent framework for the development of nutrition standards, the assessment of products and organisations, the licensing of certification marks, and the advancement of professional competence.
Its work brings scientific evidence, defined requirements, competent review and public verification into a coherent system. Each programme is governed by published criteria, controlled decisions and continuing oversight appropriate to its purpose and risk.
The Association serves practitioners, researchers, educators, manufacturers, service providers, institutions and the public while preserving the independence of its technical and certification functions.

The World Nutrition Association is an independent professional organisation registered in England No. 17408747. Its programmes are international in outlook and are administered in accordance with the Association’s governing instruments, programme rules and applicable law.
