Applicable obligations arise from the Association’s governing instruments, the relevant policy, programme rules, contractual terms and any specific appointment or licence. Where requirements differ, the more specific controlled instrument governs within its stated scope.
Material non-compliance may lead to corrective action, restriction, suspension, removal from a role or register, termination of membership, withdrawal of certification or mark licence, and referral where required by law.
Control of documents
Policies and programme rules are subject to approval, version control and periodic review. Superseded material is retained for record purposes but must not be relied upon for current obligations.
A contractual or certification requirement applies according to the version, effective date and transition provisions identified in the relevant agreement or scheme record.
